Hey guys, I work at a wallmart in a different city than where i live. I can't seem to find a copy of Walmart's attendance policy anywhere online, does anyone experienced with Walmart know if i'm allowed to call off because of a terrible blizzard?|||Call and ask|||It depends on the situation. They will most likely allow you to call out if there is a driving advisory where only emergency vehicles are advised to be on the roads. Or if the news reports that all non-emergency vehicles are advised to stay off the roads.
If there is no advisory, then they will likely not allow it. But, consider your safety and driving ability first and foremost. Speak to your supervisor about the concern you have. Most will understand.
