What does blizzard use to make the graphics/ animations of World of Warcraft?

does blizzard use a graphics generator? or something like an animator? i was curious as to how they made their stuff. does anyone have a clue? I thought it must have been some kind of program software or something.|||Hello,

The majority of animations and 3d models are created through a program called Maya.

There isn't just some fancy program that spits out models, these things take teams of artists and designers collaborating to get high quality work.

As for the physical graphics, they are programmed in Direct x using C++. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/directx/鈥?/a> Graphic generating is extremely complex, dealing with advanced math. Some of the coding is so in depth and tedious that people have spent their whole career perfecting something as small as a terrain generation algorithm.

Good luck and remember to mark answers! =)|||Probably a bespoke program they've had made for them.
