Can JUST ONE DQ Blizzard make me gain weight?
I had a Yule Flip Mint Chip Blizzard (it's the blizzard of the month) at Dairy Queen tonight. I almost NEVER eat ice cream, or any kind of dessert or sweet (I am too afraid that I will gain weight). Considering this, could me eating just one medium sized blizzard cause me to gain any weight? Thank you to anyone who answers!|||Absolutely not. One yummy dessert now and then will never hurt you. Now, if you were to have them several times a day, every day....that's a different story. Nothing will hurt you in moderation. :)|||no ofcourse its ok 2 give yourself what u want once in a while and if u eat right all the time and u always excercise then nothing will happen besides its only one blizzard not a x-large pixxa with meats and 50 diffferent chesses, don't worry if u want get the blizzard but only sometimes|||No, its just one. If you do for like, 3 or 4 days strait, then ya you'll probably gain a few pounds.|||I disagree with the other answers. Yes it will cause you to gain weight. Although it may not even be a pound, you will still experience some negative side effects from eating junk, always. Having a majorly high calorie treat once in a while will not make you gain weight unless you start doing it on a constant weekly basis.

What speed do you drive in a snow blizzard?
If the road is covered with snow, late at night, and the snow is coming down hard and in a blinding swirl, what speed would you drive at.|||It would be best to not drive at all under those conditions, but if you must drive, drive slowly enough so that you can stop in time to not hit anything that may be in front of you. The actual speed will vary with conditions and visibility. Try pretending that something on or beside the road is a person or another vehicle. How do i get the code without a Blizzard Authenticator?
I don't wanna buy the damn authenticator and it says everywhere it's optional, then why the hell is it bugging me to get a code for something I don't want? Can i get around the code without waiting for the damn thing to be shipped to me as well as i don't feel like paying more for a game I already pay to play.|||If you have an IPhone/IPod Touch, Blizzard has an application which does the exact same thing. Do you think blizzard will ever bring out another world of warcraft expansion?
I'd im imagine they would in a couple of years i guess it can't stay catacylsm for i imagine long time it will be up, what do you think and what would you like it to bring to the game?|||In the FAQS on Cataclysm one of the questions was "Is there a new hero class being introduced to the game?" They replied, "Creating a new hero class changes the game drastically and that is not what we wanted to do for this expansion, but we plan on making a new hero class in the future." Wasn't exactly said like that but the point is they made it clear that there will be expansions beyond Cataclysm.|||I think it's a given that they will release new expansions, because otherwise the income would reduce, which of course, Blizzard won't want, so they will of course bring out new expansions, or they would lose players aswell...|||I'm not sure. Why does blizzard sell you the cds with the expansions of wrath of the lich king?
i got the wrath of lich king expansion for x-mas and when i open the box so i can get the code i find 2 cds. i already got the original W.o.W. game and the burning crusade expansion, but i don't know what to do with the cds that came with the lich king expansion. do they have something on there that i need to download or wut?|||You mean 2 CD's BESIDE the WoTLK DVD ? Hello, I decided to start WoW again and after reinstalling it I had to install all the patches again. It's taking bloody ages and I'm not gonna use it because it's crap! Is there anything else I can use?|||you could try to D/L off torrent site like BtJunkie.org but you would need somthing like u torrent or search google for the patch u want and add download to the search i.e. "WoW 1.2.5 patch download"|||FileFront have pretty much all the patches, you'll still need to download them all separately, and it may take just as long.

Is it legal for Blizzard to request a photocopy of my ID?

What are some things a mobile home owner needs to do right after a blizzard?
As much snow as possible was removed from roof and porch roof. What else needs to be done? No frozen pipes right now and heater tape is around all pipes. What else?|||Even though your pipes have heater tape, if the power goes out in the night you might want a backup. I would leave one faucet farthest from your water hook up on a slow drip just to keep the water moving a little. Especially if your hook up to water is above ground. Keep an eye on the roof every couple hours if it is still snowing. Is your sewage line exposed under the skirt? Sometimes a metal skirt under the mobile will keep the crawlspace warm, but if you have no skirt you might want to check it. Though if the snow is too high, the snow will actually act as insulation to the crawlspace! Igloo style. If it is exposed elsewhere, you might want to make sure it does not freeze. (that could get ugly quick!) Wrapping it in old towels works fine. Build a Snowman tomorrow! God Bless!|||Check on your neighbors. People mostly stay home depending on the severity of the storm. If its an actual blizzard towns will just simply shut down until the city trucks can clear the roads. Sometimes in the worst cases this can be a few days. Grass simply goes dormant and stops growing till spring, kind of like hibernation. The landscape isn't effected much by snow and wind ( blizzard warning=sustained 35mph winds and heavy snow in 3 hours.) Blizzards usually are so bad due to wind and low visibility less than 1/4mi. The most damage to landscape and plants are humans plowing and salting. Salt isn't good for the environment and water. Plows usually will tare out large amounts of grass and maby knock down an occasional tree or bush.|||Plants go dormant or can die

So yes the Patriots wont have 400 yards passing in a blizzard, but they will still have 200-250 yards and still have a deep threat.
2. Is the Patriots running game good enough?
Absolutely. The Patriots dont run a lot, but they can run when they want to. A lot of people dont know this, the Patriots have the highest percentage of runs for 4 yards or more in the NFL. So when they do run, they move the ball with it better than most teams. They ran on the ravens some, they ran on the colts for more than 100 yards, they ran on the cowboys they ran on the jets. If you look at their games without a lot of running yards, they dont have a lot of rushing attempts, their game plan was not to run.|||They just beat the Jets in bad weather with Maroney rushing for over 100 yards. Brady had less than 150 yards passing and no TDs. I think they still would win.|||I won't be concerned. The Pats have the O-line and running backs to rush whenever needed, and the short passing game they love so much won't be affected much.|||If they have to play in a blizzard then so do their opponents. There will be an option to allow it access. Grant it access and your good to go.

What happens to flights the day after a blizzard and cancellations?
I live in Denver and current all flights out of DIA are cancelled today. I have the last flight out to O'Hare tomorrow w/ Southwest at 8:30pm.

My answer:
There are many factors are involved on whether you flight will make it out on time tomorrow night. Since you have such a late flight you may be ok as this gives the airline all day to reposition planes from city to city in order to get everything back on schedule. It will also very if there are any delays due to de-icing of the planes and if all runways are operational by tomorrow evening.
The good thing however is that you will have first dibs at your flight and will not be put off to accommodate someone that may have gotten stuck due to today's cancellations.
Be sure to call the airlines on tomorrow before going to the airport to check on the status of your scheduled flight.
One last thing that you may run into. The airline may be looking for volunteers to give their seats up in order to accommodate other passengers. If you have a flexible schedule you could consider giving up your seat for denied boarding compensation. They may give you a voucher for a free future flight or even gift cards with cash value. If you are willing to take the first flight out in the morning. If they do offer this also see if they will give you a hotel room in the airport area so that it is easy for you to take an early flight out the next morning.

Bad weather is expected to continue tomorrow. The airport will be shut down part of tomorrow still. Call your Southwest and check on your flight. My answer:
There are many factors are involved on whether you flight will make it out on time tomorrow night. Since you have such a late flight you may be ok as this gives the airline all day to reposition planes from city to city in order to get everything back on schedule. It will also very if there are any delays due to de-icing of the planes and if all runways are operational by tomorrow evening.
The good thing however is that you will have first dibs at your flight and will not be put off to accommodate someone that may have gotten stuck due to today's cancellations.
Be sure to call the airlines on tomorrow before going to the airport to check on the status of your scheduled flight.
One last thing that you may run into. The airline may be looking for volunteers to give their seats up in order to accommodate other passengers. If you have a flexible schedule you could consider giving up your seat for denied boarding compensation. They may give you a voucher for a free future flight or even gift cards with cash value. If you are willing to take the first flight out in the morning. If they do offer this also see if they will give you a hotel room in the airport area so that it is easy for you to take an early flight out the next morning.

How often do blizzard release new patches for World of Warcraft?
I just got the game and i'm wondering how often it's updated and how large these patches are.|||Blizz used to do weekly patches, fixing bugs. Kind of like a routine check-up. These would occur every Tuesday. However, i have not been faced with too many of these this summer.
Full out patches come out every few months (2-3 and sometimes longer). These patches (on average)are around 3gig-3.5gig.
Expansion packs are released about every 2-3 years. Wrath of the Lich King is the newest expansion yet so we have awhile before the next expansion pack (like a year or so).

How to prevent Blizzard Downloader from automatically patching?

I contacted Account Administration and am wondering how long it should take for them to reply. On a scale of 1 - 10 my question would be a 3.5 on hard it is to answer, it is regarding an account. I just bought an adult Blazzing Blizzard leopard gecko, and he has solid black eyes. I read online that Blazzing Blizzards don't have solid black eyes and that it might be a Mack Super Snow Blazzing Blizzard. What kind of pattern(morph) will the babies be.|||they might turn out albino, or snow, or they might be a mixed thing like some normal and some blizzard|||if you breed 2 blizzards together the babies would be blizzard because you are not combining with a recessive trait(heterozygous)|||Normal is dominant, so unless she's het for something (AKA carrying the genes for...) you will get all normal babies. Can Vivendi or Blizzard take legal action in this case?
Recently a Swedish company that deals with addiction released a statement that called Blizzard Entertainments game "World of Warcraft" the cocaine of video games and called it the most dangerous game ever. Can Blizzard or its parent company Vivendi take legal action against the company because of slander or some other legal reason?|||I would imagine that as long as the swedish company can back up their claims with studies, numbers, etc, that WoW is addictive, and therefore dangerous, Blizzard would have no case.|||I don't know... but I can vouch for the truth in that statement. Heavy winds, rain and blizzard conditions followed an extratropical cyclone as it moved through the Eastern United States. Deaths totaled 353, and US insurance companies ended up paying more for damages than for any previous storm. Record cold was recorded in Florida (24 degrees F), Georgia (3 degrees F), Kentucky (-2 degrees F) among others.

The Great Lakes Storm of 1913 (The Big Blow)
Nov 7 - 10, 1913
Midwestern US and Ontario Canada
Also known as the Freshwater Fury and the White Hurricane, the Big Blow may have been the worst US winter storm on record. It killed more than 250, primarily from ships that were sink. Five of the twelve ships downed by the storm were never found.
Caused by the convergence of two storm fronts over the Great Lakes鈥?relatively warm waters, the storm generated 60-90 mph winds that lasted as long as 16 hours. Wind driven waves rose to 35 feet and whiteouts covered the region. The cyclonic system, with its counterclockwise winds, was, in fact, a hurricane.
The storm was of the same type鈥攁 November gale鈥攖hat famously sank the Edmund Fitzgerald in 1975.

The Schoolhouse Blizzard (aka The Schoolchildren鈥檚 or Children鈥檚 Blizzard)
January 12, 1888
Great Plains States
This blizzard gets its name from the many schoolchildren who died when trapped in one room school houses. More than 230 are said to have died.
The tragedy of this storm was created by its suddenness, and by the warm conditions that immediately preceded it. Lulled into complacency by a balmy day, people ventured from their houses to do chores and head to town. Many were improperly dressed. Then, an arctic front crashed into moisture laden air from the Gulf of Mexico, bringing sudden drops of temperature to as low as -40 F, as well as large amounts of snow.
This was the first of two major blizzards in 1888.

Armistice Day Blizzard

November 11 - 12, 1940
The Armistice Day Blizzard was an early storm that encompassed Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Snowfall of up to 27 inches were combined with winds of 80 miles per hour, snow drifts of twenty feet and a fifty degree drop in temperature. The Blizzard surprised many hunters who were out for the beginning of duck season and had not prepared for such a storm. In Minnesota, twenty five hunters are said to have died. In all, 154 died in the storm, including 66 sailors on Lake Michigan.

January 27 - 28, 1922
Upper South and Mid Atlantic States
This storm was named for the collapse of the Knickerbocker Theater in Washington, D.C., which killed 98 and injured 133. A storm cyclone which dropped as much as three feet of snow in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania, the Knickerbocker affected 22,400 square miles of northeastern United States.

Strangely, while the storm produced huge amounts of snow in the upper midwest, it also produced record high temperatures. How come the blizzard downloader is so slow?
ok the new patch 4.0 is available for download and i can't play wow without downloading it. the blizzard downloader is extremely slow and the average time for it to complete it says is around 10 to 15 hours. thats a bunch of bullshit in my opinion. nothing else is running on my system. i dont see why its so god damn slow. anyone know why? blizz pisses me off with this ****.|||Modify your downloader settings so it wont throttle background or something like that when you modify it its gonna give you some sort of warning saying it will slow you down hit yes and enable peer to peer sharing if all goes to waste then try this portforwarding site it has alll the Guides find your router and follow the steps

Chicagoans: How are you all coping with the Blizzard Of 2011?
Sooooo... As I watch the national news %26amp; weather forecasts across the nation, I witness the massive winds, power outages, snow %26amp; snow drifts in Chi-Town %26amp; its surrounding areas.
This blizzard the people of Illinois are encountering is a MONSTROSITY of a storm %26amp; is expected to slow down sometime on Wednesday, late afternoon.
That being said, how are you all coping? Tell me your thoughts.|||MSNBC is having LIVE coverage from the illustrious Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, as I type.
It looks deserted, to say the least, more of a "Ghost Town", if you will.
The "City that works" is inoperable at this time. The roads are impassable %26amp; the SNOW PLOWS are literally few %26amp; far between!
It's gonna take at least 72 hours before the city is up %26amp; running again.
The suburbs are just a MAJOR disaster, plain %26amp; simple.

Because of the winds and drafting snow it was about 4 ft of snow in some places and cars completely under snow. No small neighborhood roads are open, because their full of snow. Main streets are empty because their are no cars. Everybody is outside shoveling, little kids are playing in the snow, people are taking pictures. This is awesome weather! But for people who drive, not so much awesome. You cant drive anywhere. Did i mention most stores are closed|||I am in Kansas city and i am fine. If i was in Chicago i would be fine. At Which DQ can you buy a Snickers Blizzard?
I live in Ontario, Canada and my girlfiend keeps bugging me about the Snickers Blizzard. I can't find it at my local DQ's. Pretty much just Orangeville and Brampton. Does anyone remember the Ice Storm of 1976 that was the prelude to the Blizzard of 1977?
I remember the Ice Storm was before December 1976, because we moved to a new section of West Seneca on December 6, 1976. My father had to hire a backhoe to clear the ice out of our new driveway on Pellman Place. Then the Blizzard hit on January 28, 1977.|||Both those atrocious weather systems crossed the Atlantic and created havoc here in the UK. I remember it well. Your recent bad weather has also hit us badly. It's one US export we can do without!|||Don't remember the ice storm but man do I remember the blizzard. I got an immense amount of terrific shots of the city throughout the night and into the day. It was an exhausting photographic marathon but it was worth it.|||I remember the ice storm, or rather, I remember moving into a hotel with my family for a few days because of the ice storm.

In my opinion, it would be very tricky to play wouldnt it unless they applied a keyboard controller and mouse and then you might as well be playing it on the PC only with better graphics.
Im a console girl and prefer console games but honestly, i dont think it could work for Warcraft.
If they did, the only way i could picture it is a FFXIII where you are in control of a few characters and coordinated their actions - heal, attack etc, couldnt imagine it working very well.|||This past few weeks I tuned into blizzcon, the CEO of Blizzard said himself they might or mght not make a console game. as in xbox 360 or PS3..but they will keep releasing new sxpansions for there current PC games, Starcraft, Warcraft and world of warcraft.!|||Would be amazing. How do I paint a blizzard in acrylics?
I am painting a southwestern scene, and I want a brisk snow blizzard effect over all|||You can dilute the acrylic paint somewhat with water until it is loose enough to use with a tooth brush and screen. Test on another surface before starting on your painting, that way you won't ruin it if it is not the consistency or effect that you want. Dryer the tooth brush, the more controllable the spray. Use a shaded white (add some blue or purple) to the smaller more distant snow flakes, and use a brilliant white for the up close larger ones, assisting with perspective.|||Diluting the acrylic paint with water might make it less structurally sound.
There is a clear acrylic solution you can get called co-polymer emulsion that can thin the paint, and act like glazing an oil painting.
The only drawback to this is that the co-polymer can be quite shiny, although I suppose you can use a matt/satin varnish over this.
:)|||hi, you can get an irridesant acrylic medium that daler-rowney make that mixes with your ordinary white acrylic to give it a shimmer/blizzard effect.

The only drawback to this is that the co-polymer can be quite shiny, although I suppose you can use a matt/satin varnish over this.

How can I hack in and take the blood out of Blizzard Entertainments' StarCraft?
I have some friends I would like to show Blizzard Entertainment's STARCRAFT to, but they are not allowed to play games with blood.
Would there be any way of hacking into the game and cutting out all the blood (and, if possible, the bad language)?
Any solutions appreciated. :)|||I once stumbled upon a game engine in sourceforge, that advertised itself as an engine, that could run starcraft. It had screenshots with various starcraft units. I think you can ( with a lot of work ) create the thing you want, but it might be easier just to teach your friend or your friends mother to ignore the blood and turn off the sound effects at all :) That gives the opportunity to play the best real time strategy game of all time.
-Edit- I just wanted to mention (because of an another answer), that in my country, for example, the hacking mentioned in here, is not illegal, it is even mentioned as allowed in the law.|||the blood would be very tough because it is part of the script. I dont know how to do it, but I would not suggest trying because it could mess up the game. The swearing should be remedied by going into options and turning of unit responses. If they dont have an option for that, just turn down the volume on unit voices.|||Well not HACKING cause that will violate the EULA and get you banned.
