Where can I find a cheap baby blizzard corn?

Does anyone have any ideas? I've been looking for awhile and at first I wanted a snow corn but I saw the blizzard....I need it to be $35 and under....and I need to find it soon before it gets too cold here. I live in Illinois if anyone lives near here and knows a good pet store. Thanks for helping.|||im sorry, but you are not going to find a blizzard corn snake anywhere for less than 50 dollars unless you have a friend that breeds them. The reason that they cost so much is because it is a double reccesive gene, so a breeder needs to breed in one of these scenarios to get them

1) breed an amel to a charcoal, then breed two of the babies together and get 6.25% of the babies to be blizzards

or

2)breed a normal het for amel and charcoal to an amel het for charcoal to get 12.5% to be blizzard

3)breed a normal het for charcoal and amel to a charcoal het for amel to get 12.5% to be blizzards

2)breed a normal het for amel and charcoal to a blizzard to get 25% of the babies to be blizzards

or

3) breed an amel het for charcoal to a blizzard to get 50% of the babies to be blizzards

or

4)breed a charcoal het for amel to a blizzard to get 50% of the babies to be blizzards

or

5)breed a blizzard to a blizzard to get 100% of the babies to be blizzards

i guess this is the long way for me to tell you that even though blizzards arent that hard to produce, they do take a good amount of time unless you have 2 blizzards, so i would suggest you go to a local pet store, they will probably have snow corn snakes for around 40 dollars, even though they arent blizzards they look alot like them.|||Don't listen to JM he is against buying gold fish. But i highly doubt that you will find one for under 35 dollars. The cheapest i have ever seen was 60 dollars. But a blizzard and a snow corn are genetically the same. The only difference is there is a different type of anery in the blizzard. A snow corn is a anery type one to a albino and a blizzard is a anery type two to a albino. So technically they are still the same. I own a snow and they are still very pretty snakes. They are white with pink saddles. And as the get older the get a yellow pigment near their mouths.|||You are unlikely to find a Blizzard to adopt. They're not as common as snow corns, so you're also not likely to find one at a pet store. The fact that I found just a charcoal at a petco is rather astounding. I would wait until there is a reptile expo near you. I managed to get a female blizzard hatchling at an expo for $40.|||hello if you check with local reptile rescues you may be surprised as many will adopt to you at no charge.
