How many of you are at home due to the Blizzard of 2011?

Here in St. Louis we've had icing and sleet for the past 18 hours and the blizzard is on our doorsteps with accumulations of up to 30 inches of snow predicted for parts of Mo.|||Not yet... tonight the storm is coming.

Oh, you live in St. Louis? Another Yahoo user is from Festus Missouri, just a few miles away. Do you know Paul Grass?

Just wondering.

Anywho... stay warm!!!|||Sitting here in So.Co and loving it,just waiting on the power lines to go down ready for that also.Thank mother nature for the shovel ready jobs.|||I'm in Chicago, and the blizzard is on its way. I went to the grocery store last night, and it was sold out of bread. People must be planning to feed the ducks.|||Don't worry about the Extreme weather events - they mean nothing

I am sorry you have a snow day at school today - you should be out enjoying it, perhaps build a snowman|||North Texas. 19 degrees. We have ice on the streets and roads and some light snow flurries. That is enough to paralyze us. I would be home anyway since I am retired.|||Brrrrrrrr... It will hit 70 here today, but will get colder later this week. We have had a colder than average Winter though. The other day I actually saw a liberal placing his hands into his own pockets.|||an old woman took a loaf of bread right out of my basket at the Shop-N-Pay last night..so when she wasn't looking I put the peanut butter I had..in her cart..it goes with the bread!|||I don't go to work for a few hours yet. It seems to be coming. Dallas already hit.|||No blizzard here.|||In NJ there's been snow on the ground since Xmas %26amp; more every week. I luv it! X-ski, snowmen, %26amp; all the morons stay inside.|||It only got down to 20 degrees, no snow, was 77 yesterday. At home, cause it's my day off.

South Texas.|||getting ready|||I live near KCMO and they gave us the day off . did today's work yesterday.|||Not too bad so far here in western Wisconsin. Last month we had a record 23 inch one-day dump though.|||Its snowing in Texas :D No work for me, all the districsts are closed!!|||Not yet then again I live in the South. I think someone needs to call Al Gore about all this "global warming."|||You mean the global warming hasn't effected you yet.Where's Al Gore when we need him?|||Yep. I'll be at home passing the time on this wretched site.|||I'm in NW Arkansas and you would have to be desperate, stupid, or crazy to go out in this.|||Rainy and cool in Atlanta. They say we will just get rain and cooler temps. from that storm.

Home because of no work...|||Yeah, I'm stuck here with this global warming. Good news is, I'm the only one in the local area with a snow plow, so I'll be making money off the misery of others soon enough! What an "evil capitalist-pig" I am.
